Journal of Nursing and Allied Health (JNAH) is an official journal of Rawalpindi Medical University. It is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original research in the field of Medical, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences especially; Physical Therapy, Imaging Technology, Laboratory Technology, Orthotics & Prosthetics, Optometry & Orthoptics, Psychology, Speech therapy and Nursing.

The basic idea in establishing this journal, is to provide a distinguished platform that bridges the realms of Allied Health Sciences and Nursing, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, knowledge dissemination, and scholarly discourse. It aims to accelerate the progression of these fields by showcasing pioneering research, evidence-based practices, and transformative ideas. It will be a Free access to scientific articles for individuals. The electronic version of the journal will be distributed at no cost over the internet. The non-commercial reproduction of articles for educational and research purposes will be explicitly permitted. It will also provide greatly reduced time to publication due to policies for rapid editorial and peer review.

It is published quarterly and follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) guidelines.
